Clinical
Supervision

I am currently offering supervision towards licensure in both Oregon and Washington to pre-licensed, master’s level therapists pursuing licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

I also offer individual supervision to those working towards certification as a sex therapist or sexuality counselor through AASECT (the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists).

Clinical supervision is an integral aspect of a mental health professional's journey.

For associate therapists and counselors, securing supervision hours is a professional obligation aimed at enhancing our competence and growing us as clinicians. But while it’s a shared requirement, not everyone knows where to find their perfect supervisory match. If you’re looking for a supervisor, and you think I could be the right fit for you, read on!

you know..

I work best with supervisees who are prepared to engage in honest reflection about their growth and experience. I will guide and challenge, support and push you on your way to growing as a professional.

I am most effective with supervisees who display:
  • Good organization
  • Self-awareness
  • A willingness to challenge implicit biases and blind spots
  • Sincere accountability for their choices and actions

Just like fit is important with a therapist, fit is important with your supervisor!

WORKING WITH ME

As someone with multiple privileged identities, I have committed myself to anti-oppressive and anti-racist work and my approach as a supervisor would be to cultivate and help you find these lenses within yourself. Identifying our blind spots and biases is a necessary part of providing competent care to all identities and expressions!

My lens in supervision is systemic in nature and informed primarily by emotion-focused therapy, intergenerational family therapy and relational life principles. While these are my primary modalities, I am familiar with many therapeutic models and know that my purpose is to support you in utilizing the modalities and perspectives that speak to you.

My goal is to help you develop the confidence and skills to provide competent, equitable and informed counseling to your clients
